About ACS Collaborative

Alix Stewart, MS, OTR/L

Hi, I’m Alix Stewart, MS, OTR/L, a Charlotte native, occupational therapist, and the founder of ACS Collaborative.

I founded ACS Collaborative out of necessity. Over the years, I saw how much families were being asked to navigate on their own, often with limited time to collaborate with their child’s therapists, educators, physicians, and other professionals. Traditional therapy models can provide valuable support, but they don’t always allow the time and collaboration families need to truly understand what is happening, ask the right questions, and create meaningful change.

I wanted to create something different.

ACS Collaborative operates as a more concierge, collaborative service designed to give families the time, attention, and individualized support they need. I work alongside parents to help them make sense of complex information, connect the dots between different providers and environments, and turn recommendations into practical strategies that actually work in everyday life.

My goal is not simply to provide another evaluation or another list of recommendations. I want parents to walk away with real answers, practical help, and a clear path forward.

With more than eight years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults across school, clinical, and hospital settings, I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals and families, with a focus on sensory processing, functional independence, participation, and the everyday routines that shape quality of life.

At the heart of ACS Collaborative is a simple belief; meaningful support should help people better understand themselves, participate more fully in everyday life, and feel more confident navigating the environments around them.
